Please note: The chalet has six bedrooms and six bathrooms for up to 14 people. However, outside the ski season, one bedroom and one bathroom are reserved for the owners' use. The capacity remains the same.

About the property…

Chalet Nordchamp is a three-storey property with five bedrooms, six bathrooms and a host of quality features. An additional bedroom with bathroom is available in the winter season, although the maximum capacity remains at 14.

The open-plan living area is flooded with light, thanks to glazed doors that open onto the garden and terrace. Inside, cosy sofas are arranged around a wood-burning stove, and there's a reading area with books and music instruments.

The spacious kitchen has all the cooking equipment you need to cater for your group, including an induction hob and dishwasher, as well as a food processor, fondue set and raclette set. Enjoy your meals around the large indoor dining table, or on the terrace, which has a barbecue. The living room also opens onto a pleasant level garden, where you can enjoy the mountain views from the hot tub.

Each of the chalet's five bedrooms has its own shower room with toilet, and three of the large double beds can be arranged as two single beds, according to your needs.

The first bedroom, on the ground floor, and its shower room, are accessible to guests with reduced mobility. The four bedrooms on the first floor each have extra single beds and access to a balcony.

Guests who would like to keep up their workouts during their stay will find a good range of equipment in the ground floor gym, including a rowing machine, treadmill and exercise bike. There's also a table tennis table. This room leads to the sauna and a shower room with WC.

This floor also has a ski room with heated boot dryer, and a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Up to five cars can be parked outside the chalet, while bikes and motorbikes can be stored in the garage. Cycle repair tools are available.

About the area…

Chalet Nordchamp is just a short drive from the villages of Morillon and Samoëns, both of which boast a number of well-known restaurants.

Ski lifts in the two villages give you access to the resorts of Flaine, Les Carroz and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, which make up the superb Grand Massif ski area, with 265km of pistes for all levels. You'll enjoy panoramic views and excellent snow cover.

In summer, the mountains are full of walking and cycling trails and there's a choice of water sports on the Giffre river.

The Lac Bleu leisure centre, just outside Morillon, is a great day out for families. You can swim from the beach, go horse-riding, try your hand at the tree-top adventure course and much more. Younger children will love the pump track, play areas, inflatables and trampolines. And you'll also be able to enjoy a fantastic lakeside sauna in the winter!

The village of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, less than 20 minutes' drive away, is well worth a visit, as it is one of the most beautiful villages in France. The nearby Cirque du Fer à Cheval, a natural amphitheatre of high limestone cliffs, it is the starting point for white-water rafting and a via ferrata route.
